A busy Cafe in a small shopping complex, prices are slightly higher than normal for meals but all freshly made in the kitchen. Had a burger and a hot chocolate, burger was cooked well nothing outstanding but the hot chocolate was delicious.

We've been coming to Marmalade once a week for several weeks now and enjoyed lovely morning teas. Date scones, fruit toast, muffins are very nice, coffee and tea also very good. Staff are bright, cheerful and helpful. This cafe is very popular for good reason. It's refreshing to find a cafe that's homely and not too trendy.

I lived in Melbourne for eight years and am a coffee snob. Marmalade has the best coffee that I’ve tasted in Perth and I’ve tried a lot of places. Their food and staff are great too. Highly recommend!

Went in not expecting much, however I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't much of a wait, the food was delicious and well presented. Lovely staff. The lighting bothered me a bit, but that might just be a me problem (there were some bright overhead lights that were kind of unnecessary as the rest of the centre is lit well with softer lighting). Overall, fantastic. Will be returning.

I love the chef salad. The portion is perfect (the portion tends to be too big for me at many cafes), and the balsamic dressing is lovely. The food comes on time from my experience. Just the other day the waiter served me the chef salad with smoked salmon on top instead of the chicken I ordered. I told him about the mistake, and he took it away swiftly, and then came back with the chicken version 10 minutes later (it was peak time), and he said “here is your salad, I’m sorry that was my fault.” He then asked me how the salad was after I finished eating which was another nice surprise. I haven’t been asked that for a while at a coffee shop. I think this type of care can especially make a cafe shine in Perth, where a large portion of the service industry tends to not apologise for mistakes or hold any accountability compared to other cities. I love their salad, and well done to the waiter for providing great service. It really makes a BIG difference
